Whether clergy or lay, those who work for the church give a great deal to ensure the faith of their congregations are nurtured. But what about your own faith journey? You've all experienced it - you go to church to tend and develop your own faith, only to have folks approach you with work-related questions, requests, suggestions or complaints. How do you balance the two? How do you share your gifts with the world while still nurturing your own faith and spiritual needs? How do you keep your job from becoming your whole relationship with the church, or with the Divine?
Join us on Tuesday, November 19, to learn how to do just that. Laura Jackson is Executive Director of the Partner's Path, a nonprofit founded to help clergy spouses "care for [their] own soul and nourish the unique gifts [they] have to offer the world." She will help us identify the challenges that come with being both a member and employee of a faith community, and provide us with tools and tips on how to navigate what sometimes can be conflicting needs.
(Spoiler alert: Making time to attend this webinar is a great first step!)
Please join us to give yourself the gift of serving the church while preserving your own faith journey.
