Wilderness & Wonder, the 2027 Conference Theme, invites us to live into the reality we face as Episcopal communicators: that the work God calls us to do can sometimes feel overwhelming. At times, we may even feel lost, alone in the wilderness. But the wilderness has never been without God; it can be the very place where we gain clarity and find new ways to share the Gospel. That is the journey we'll take together. Attendees will arrive as they are, some road-worn, some running on empty, and step by step we'll travel into joyful wonder. This conference will make space to reconnect with your calling, discover new streams of creativity and craft, and be renewed in the company of colleagues who know what this work costs and what it's worth. Every part of these days is built to move us along that shared path, from the first welcome when you arrive to a closing that sends us out with fresh eyes. Because the wonder was never really far off. It was waiting for us to discover it — together.
