Colby Martin

As a pastor for more than 20 years, first in the evangelical world and now as a leader in the post-evangelical, Progressive Christian movement, Colby brings a bold and compassionate voice to the conversation about what it means to follow Jesus in a changing world.

The author of UnClobber and The Shift, Colby’s work invites the Church to grow in faith, humility, and inclusion. In 2025, he launched The UnClobber Initiative, a ministry dedicated to helping churches embrace Better Beliefs for Better Churches through education and advocacy for LGBTQ inclusion.

In his keynote address, Colby will explore the power of story to cast a new narrative, a narrative that heals division, expands belonging, and reflects the transforming love of Christ. His message will challenge and inspire communicators to lead with courage, creativity, and compassion, using storytelling as a tool for renewal and hope.

The Reverend Lauren F. Winner

The Reverend Lauren F. Winner is the author of numerous books, including Wearing God, and a volume of sermons forthcoming this fall from Brazos Press. She is Associate Professor of Christian Spirituality at Duke Divinity School and the vicar of St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church in Durham, North Carolina.
