Board of Directors 2026 Nominees and Election
This election cycle will fill three (3) three-year terms 2026-2029, and one (1) unexpired term 2025-2028. In the election process, active members will select up to four people from the slate. The three nominees with the most votes get three-year terms, the nominee with the fourth-most number of votes gets the one-year term.
Important Dates:
Online voting will open on Tuesday, April 7 at 12:00 p.m. ET (9:00 a.m. PT) and will remain open until the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Voting will close during the meeting, after nominations from the floor have been closed and the chair declares voting closed. Look for an email with detailed instructions and voting link on Tuesday, April 7.
Election results will be announced shortly after the Annual Meeting at the Episcopal Communicators conference on Wednesday, April 15, and via membership email.
Board Nominees
Dennis Boyd
Canon of Communications
Episcopal Diocese of Michigan
Detroit, MI
Dennis currently serves at the Canon for Communications of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan in Midtown Detroit. He started this position in June of 2023. While onboarding, he was made aware of Episcopal Communicators and was encouraged to join, which he did without hesitation.
He attended his first conference in 2024 and earned his first Polly Bond: Award of Merit, in 2025. He also was one of the presenters for the virtual edition of the Episcopal Communicators Conference in the summer of 2025 where he presented on how to spot AI-generated content.
He’s always had a heart to serve and loves to volunteer and serve others. For over a decade he traveled to multiple states to participate in Volunteer days for the Boys and Girls Club. He also served as a Dog walker for the Humane Society for close to 6 years.
He loves graphic communications and believes in working towards the furtherance and preservation of the graphic arts by continuing to progress in all areas of Printing and Graphic Communications.
He enjoys giving of his time for the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan in their public witness and advocacy work for Ending Gun Violence in Michigan and has also sat on the Climate Change Task Force. Recently, he started his first plarning project to gather grocery bags to crochet sleeping mats for the unhoused. Dennis is also a 2025 graduate from the College for Congregational Development.
Dennis earned his associate degree in Printing and Digital Graphic Imaging Technology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in New Media Printing and Publishing from Ferris State University in 2010. Soon after that he spent more than nine years working for Allied Printing Company, a Commercial Printer in Ferndale, MI.
Dennis has been an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Detroit for more than 25 years and is currently on a second term as a Vestry member. He’s served in many capacities at All Saints during this time including Acolyte and Crucifer, Lesson Reader, Junior Warden, Senior Warden, Finance Committee Chair, Convention delegate, and Tech Ministry chair.
Prior to working for the diocese, Dennis did some career exploration. He spent the spring of 2023 working as a paraprofessional for a local Elementary School where he worked with children from kindergarten through 5th grade and did intervention to assist developing their skills in reading and math, as well as being a support for those with special needs.
Before that, he worked for a year and a half on the closing team for the largest mortgage company in the US where he worked with loan officers to resolve issues keeping their clients from purchasing or refinancing their homes.
His pronouns are He/Him/His and introverted by nature his Myers Briggs profile is INFJ. He loves dogs (even though he is allergic) and enjoys watching the latest movies and shows from Marvel, long walks and quiet time.
In his spare time, he likes to tinker with different AI applications, and he operates an online printing company where he prints direct mail and marketing materials for small businesses as well as Funeral Programs.
Mary Grace (MG) Donohoe
Communications Manager for Strategy, Positioning, and Partnerships

Mary Grace Donohoe (or MG) is an strategic communications expert with over nine years of experience managing traditional and digital communications for faith-inspired nonprofits.
As the Communications Manager for Strategy, Positioning, and Partnerships, she leverages her experience to ensure communications is more than a series of tools and tasks, but rather essential to EDS's mission and vision for a more just world. Central to her work is elevating voices excluded and undervalued by the church and reaching emerging audiences with EDS's cutting edge theological education offerings.
MG oversees program publicity, public relations, social media, and the brand and voice of EDS and its leadership, and collaborates closely with her colleague in communications, Dustin Jesudason.
Mary Grace previously served as Communications Manager for the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island and for Religions for Peace International, a representative multi-religious organization with a presence in nearly 100 countries. She previously consulted with Red Letter Christians, a national movement at the intersection of Jesus and justice. She holds a B.A. in Political Science/International Relations and Religious Studies from Stonehill College.
Ashley Eastham

Ashley Eastham was born and raised in Michigan before moving to New Orleans in 2008. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2005 with a double major in Psychology and Communications and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University in 2008.
Ashley’s formative faith experiences took place during youth programming as participant, staff, and eventually conference coordinator for KEY conferences at Kanuga Episcopal Camp and Conference Center. She began working for the church at Trinity Episcopal Church New Orleans in 2011 as Executive Assistant to the Clergy and has since held several roles, including Young Adults Ministry Director and Communications Director (2018–2024). She now serves as Trinity’s Director of Advancement, overseeing both communications and development. She has served on the Board of Episcopal Communicators for the last three years, and has found great joy and growth in the professional camaraderie of this membership.
Ashley and her husband, Evan, were married at Trinity in 2011 and are the proud parents of two young daughters age 9 and 5. She loves meeting and connecting with people, laughing, exploring, making lists and learning something new.
Dustin Jesudason
Communications Manager for Digital Media and Stakeholder Engagement

Dustin Jesudason is Communications Manager for Digital Media and Stakeholder Engagement at Episcopal Divinity School (EDS), where he manages strategy and content across digital platforms, events, and institutional communications. He oversees the website, newsletter, multimedia, and livestreamed programming, and collaborates closely with leadership, the board, programs team, his colleague in communications, Mary Grace Donohoe, and the alumni community.
Previously, Dustin served for eleven years as Director of Communications/Creative Director at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church in Houston. His earlier experience includes media relations in the energy sector and development roles with The Houston Methodist Hospital Foundation and the Menil Collection. He studied video production and computer information systems management at Houston Christian University and currently serves on the board of Episcopal Communicators.
Natalie VanDeVeire
Director of Communications and Digital Ministry

Natalie VanDeVeire serves as Director of Communications and Digital Ministry at Saint Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Chandler, Arizona, a vibrant parish in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area within the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona, with an average Sunday attendance of 299 and three distinctive Sunday worship services. Since February 2021, Natalie has led church communications, including social media, website workflow and worship service live streaming. Her role has expanded to include oversight of office administration, parish records, volunteer coordination and facility management. She holds a B.S. in Public Relations from Northern Arizona University and brings experience from the marketing agency world, pairing strategic vision with practical execution.
Her expertise includes building sustainable communications workflows; graphic design; website management and implementation; executing effective email campaigns; and creating systems that reduce overwhelm while increasing clarity and impact.
Natalie is an active member of the Episcopal Communicators, with CommsCon26: Anchored in Hope marking her third conference and her second year serving on the Polly Bond Committee. Through this involvement, she has demonstrated a commitment to the organization’s mission, a collaborative spirit and a strong understanding of the needs of church communicators across contexts. She would bring to the Board of Directors, a thoughtful, systems-oriented approach, hands-on ministry experience and a deep enthusiasm for equipping others in their communications work.
When Natalie isn't wrangling her three elementary-aged boys or weaving a spiritual tapestry, she enjoys singing karaoke and drinking coffee.
